A few snaps from last week when I went to Newquay for the day (possibly the most famous place in Cornwall; a surfers paradise) I went for a long walk and sat in the sun watching the world go by...bliss.

cosmetics from the body shop.
What a lovely sight, a bunch of new Body Shop goodies. oh I could just stare at it all day, but i'm not, instead i'm going to show you what i got...
all-in-one cheek colour. 'macaroon' shade 01. £8.
i've been looking for a peachy-pink subtle blush for a while now and i'm pretty pleased with this find. i think i'll get a lot of wear out of this. it's a matt shade which i like as i prefer wearing separate high-light products rather that being a big glitter-face.
pressed face powder. shade 02. £12.50.
i'm going to use this product for days when i'm a little bit more oily and need that extra bit of coverage over my base ie foundation or bb cream. first look, i'm impressed it looks very fine which i like, matt, and not a bad match to my skin.
all-in-one bb cream. shade 01. £12.
i have been SO excited about trying this! since purchasing my first bb cream (garnier) i've barely worn foundation and haven't looked back since. i love the idea of bb creams; looking after your skin whilst wearing make-up and concealing inperfections. this one for body shop is a colour adapting cream. so, it comes out white but in fact, it's filled with colour capsules which burst when you start rubbing and adapts to the colour of your skin. so far i really like this product. will keep you updated as i have a feeling i'll be wearing this lots! Also keep an eye out for a comparison post too on 4 different bb creams.
top-bottom: tea-tree concealer. shade 01. £6. all-in-one concealer. shade 00. £8.50. lightening touch concealer. shade 01. £14.
yes, i've gone a bit concealer made but as mentioned in my last post my skin has gone crazy recently. I've not been very well so i've been really pale with mega dark circles and i need some extra help concealing these bloody spots. the tea-tree will be for spots/blemishes. lightening touch for under eyes/round nose and all-in-one for any other areas.
carbon eye definer. shade brown, £9.
another product that i've been using for a long time. i've also got the black shade and just love these eye liners. it comes with a smudger on the other end which is good for a classic smokey eye or just as a bit of a more subtle eye liner. i really enjoy using brown eye colours as i have blue eyes and it makes them pop.
super volume mascara. shade cobolt blue. £10.
just for a bit of a change i fancied buying an electric blue mascara, for days when i just can't be bothered, this will add a bit of colour to my eyes without much other effort.
love gloss. shade 13 pale pink. £10.
you've gotta have a pink gloss in your collection haven't you? this one tastes lovely, isn't too sticky lasts pretty well. i'm a bit disappointed at the shade; its a lot more iridescent on my lips as the swatch in the shop but i will still wear it.
once again, i cannot fault body shop products and glad to have these new additions to my make-up collection. as well as the brilliant quality, at body shop you can be assured that animals haven't been tested on.
I forgot to mention in my last post that i specifically went to the body shop to purchase all these bits on sunday as there was a voucher code running up til sunday for a huge 30% all purchases in store. i saved so much money it was brilliant, didn't feel quite so guilty splurging!
all products can be purchased in store or online at http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/index.aspx and they always have great deals going on!

body shop. [haul]
This shop is quite possibly my all-round favourite shop, and always has been. I don't think I've ever been un-impressed with any of their products.
I bought mainly make-up, skin-care & body care products and a few household things too like a ginger & sandalwood diffuser (lush!) but only beauty related items here!
Accessories;
britannia toiletry bag, hairbrush, headband & bath lily.
All pretty self explanatory really!
skin/body care;
rose hand cream, olive body butter, cocoa butter body scrub, tea-tree cleansing wipes, tea-tree night lotion, tea-tree facial wash & tea-tree lotion. (i like tea-tree, ok?!)
I don't think you can beat the Body Shop's body butters, just delicious. Thick, creamy but melts into your skin and really seals in moisture whilst leaving you with a luscious scent. I picked up the olive one last time and completely fallen in love! And yes, it appears, 10 years later I am in fact going through puberty again and cannot rid my face of blemishes at the moment, my skin has never been so bad! I've been using the tea-tree facial wash for years so it's not time to give the rest of the collection a go. I use the facial wash morning & evening applied on the Body Shop's facial buffer (not pictured, but you can find it here) And the rose hand cream is just lovely, light and moisturising and smells delightful.
make-up;
bb cream, lightning touch concealer, all-in-one concealer, mascara, tea-tree concealer, blush, face powder, eye liner, lip-gloss.
i'm not going to go into too much (or any) detail here as i'm going to do a full close-up look with swatches of all these goodies.
perfume;
amazonian wild lily eau de toilette.
just, lovely.
a few more posts on their way looking at these products in more detail.

Cornwall: An Evening in Mevagissy.
I currently live in mid-cornwall (originally from south-west) and there are some really pretty fishing villages near where I live. Mevagissy is one of those. A small quaint village with tiny cottages and very narrow roads, with amazing sea food restaurants to eat in! Chris & I fancied dinner out tonight (which we don't often do) and decided on Mevagissy. We went to a gorgeous little restaurant called Salamanders and had a very luchious dinner. I had Hot Crab Pot for starters then Steak, garlic butter (yes I stink now!) and goats cheese for mains, along with a sneaky glass of rose ;)
We even managed a romantic walk along the harbour to the sea afterwards! Here are some shots...

In the car, rockin' the Vegas Volt.
Chris by the harbour. don't he look lovely?!
What a lovely evening! I love living in Cornwall <3
